People who are legally blind (also referred to as low-vision by the medical community) try-on eSight for the first time, they typically have one of three reactions:

While most legally blind individuals retain some very limited eye sight, often concentrated in their peripheral vision, their eyes do not receive an adequate signal for the brain to recognize what is being seen. This phenomena creates blind spots, blurriness, inability to detect contrast, and other symptoms that reduce vision. eSight eliminates or significantly corrects these impediments.

A clinical study conducted in partnership with a number of Ophthalmologists and the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) is in the process of being finalized. Once complete, the full results will be published. Initial results clearly demonstrates that eSight users achieve very significant improvements using eSight.
